We last left Micheal looking in the help wanted ads in the "Daily News" paper...Micheal: hmm it says here for more information about this job visit us online at http://www.nikkisplace.com/ or call 108-6742. I think that I will go and check it out on-line and see what I can find out about this job.
Well here it is. Wow it is not to far away, So Nikki is looking for a cook with some exp. at least 1-2 yrs would be nice.. I'm going down there right now.....::I hope that I get this job. I want her to be proud of me. I just want to make her happy. I love it when she smiles at me.. I'm going to give it my best and I hope I walk out with the job. Oh Ash I'm doing this for myself ::
After work Ashley comes home to an empty house. She sits down after have dinner to watch some television. And beings to wonder where is Micheal at this time of night.. She looks at her watch, it is almost 12 am. And then her mind goes....
Ashley:(aloud) I can't believe him, I bet he is at the bar and he never showed up to the interview with my boss... Oh when I see him I'm going to rip him into two... Oh and to think that I was ooh I can't believe myself... I always start to fall for the ones who are not worth it.. Oh he better have a good reason for being out this late....
(she sits there not really watching the television.. she is just so ready to kill him when he walks though that door. Then she hears his car pull up in the driveway)
She jumps up and meet him near the door....
Ashley: And where have you been? Don't you know it is after 12 o'clock in the morning. Have you lost your mind being out this late at night? And where were you today.... You had a job interview with my boss, I waiting for you and you never showed...
Micheal: Wait! Wait! I know what time it is, good lord Ashley...I have a good reason why I wasn't at the interview today. And I'm sorry that you waited for me. I thought that you boss would have giving you my message. I just something else that came up that I had to go and look into, And I wanted to check it out.
Ashley: Look in to!? Look into what you told me you would be there. And there was nothing else you need to look into about.
Micheal: my goodness Ashley you are acting like we are dating or something... Believe it was important for me to go..
Ashley: Well then why won't you tell me about, And I'm not acting like we are dating. Have you gone mad. I was upset that you did show up
Micheal: okay I will tell you then.. :sigh: I was looking for a job in the paper and I came across an ad about Nikki's Place downtown. So I took a look the website and I went down there after I check it out. And I meet the owner and she looked what I could do and she loved my cooking and so she hired me on the spot. And that is why I wasn't at the interview, and that is also why I'm late getting home. Are you happy now?
Ashley is feeling real low right about now. all the things she about him to herself. And all the thoughts she was thinking. And she almost wanted to cry. But she shocked that her boss did say anything to her. And She was feeling pretty bad..
Ashley: Oh Micheal, I'm so so sorry for blown my top like that. I just knew you were up to something when you didn't show up, and then you being late coming home. I just knew you was out there doing something bad.
Micheal: What! You think because of all of this I was some where other then were I was. That is not cool Ash. Why would you think that? I told you when I got here, that I needed to get back on my feet and hopefully get my own place.
Ashley: Yes I know and I'm sorry for thinking that way...Please forgive me.
Micheal: All is forgiving, I also got paid for today too. So You don't have to worry about the bills for this month. I will next care of them for you
Ashley: Wow! Really... Oh Thank you so much Micheal... Well then I'm going to bed... I'm so happy for you... Good night
Micheal: Goodnight!
He gets the bills and heads out to the mailbox...
::I'm so happy that I can do this for her. she has done so much for me. The least I can do is help with the bills::
What a wonderful thing that he was feeling inside that words could not explain. But mostly he was proud of himself for being able to do this...

As time moved on he has been living with Ashley for about a year and half now. He has done very will at Nikki's Place that he is been place in the "Top Chief " Magazine. And he has been a walk on star on Rachael Rays 's Talk show. So alot of great things has been happen for him. But also that little bad cupid has shot his arrows too...
Stay tune to see what will unfold.... Well it really be love in the air? Or does she have a boyfriend all ready? hmmm.. We shall see....
